Position Summary:
• Drives creative problem-solving for three-dimensional, brand-driven environments.
• Works with interdisciplinary teams to develop and produce quality creative branded environment solutions that meet clients’ business objectives and goals.
• Directs the Branded Environments creative process to support the strategic and brand goals of our clients.
• Helps shape the group’s culture and processes, and guides work style and work expectations.
Essential Job Functions:
DESIGN
• Thinks and designs three-dimensionally with advanced creative and conceptual skills.
• Integrates graphic communications and brand messaging into the built environment.
• Delivers strategic communication solutions that help our clients attain their marketing and communication objectives.
• Contributes to the strategic and creative development of branding efforts for new business development.
• Guides the design process through all phases of work.
TECHNICAL
• Understands all aspects and phases of the Branded Environments design and production process.
MANAGEMENT
• Works collaboratively and manages multiple creative projects simultaneously.
• Works successfully in interdisciplinary teams, including: architects, interior designers, industrial designers, urban designers, graphic designers, marketing strategists, etc.
• Researches, develops, and manages multiple creative projects and interdisciplinary teams to meet client expectations and objectives.
• Leads and directs projects to include brand strategy, positioning and marketing communications.
• Leads and directs the creative team from concept to completion.
• Collaborates with architecture, interior design, environmental graphic design, signage and wayfinding, and print graphic design team members to develop brand expressions which support clients’ built environments and distinguish their core market positions and identities.
• Responsible for the professional development and growth of the creative teams.
• Responsible for both the profitability and the creative quality of Branded Environments projects.
• In conjunction with the Project Manager, ensures that internal and client presentations are on schedule and within budget, as well as creatively engaging, persuasive, professional, and supported by a sound business and creative rationale.
